## Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated TGT English teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education aligned with the CBSE curriculum, fostering a love for literature and language, and helping students develop critical thinking and communication skills. The teacher will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall academic and co-curricular development of the school.

## Responsibilities

Ø Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.

Ø Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.

Ø Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.

Ø Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance.

Ø Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development workshops.

Ø Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.

Ø Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

Ø Encourage students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills through literature and language.

Key qualifications for your role

Ø A Bachelor degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related field.

Ø B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Ø 2+ years teaching experience at the secondary level is preferred.

Ø Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment methods.

Ø A passion for literature and language, with the ability to instil this passion in students.
