We are currently seeking a talented Textile Designer for Home Furnishings to join our team at Kanchan Arts. As a successful candidate, you must have experience in designing Rugs, Cushions, Throws, and other home furnishings products. You should have a keen sense of colour, texture, and pattern and be familiar with various textile materials. Responsibilities: • Create and design new product ranges based on customer requirements and market trends • Develop new design ideas and improve existing designs to meet customer needs • Work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are produced to a high standard and within agreed timelines. • Use design software such as Photoshop, NedGraphics, and other tools to create designs • Work with different textile materials such as wool, cotton, silk, and others • Keep up-to-date with market trends and customer demands in the home furnishings industry Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in textile design. • 2+ years of experience in home textiles • Strong aesthetic sense regarding color, finishes, materials, and techniques • Knowledgeable with weaving, printing, and embroidery and surface embellishment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to details Salary: The salary for this position ranges from 25k+ , depending on the candidate's experience and skills.
