Textile Designer

1. Conceptualize and create original textile designs for sarees, running fabrics and sportswear.

2. Develop seamless repeat patterns, placement prints, and digital layouts suitable for printing.

3. Use Photoshop/Illustrator to finalize high-resolution print files.

4. Work with a pen tablet to sketch, illustrate, and digitize motifs or designs.

5. Understand fabric limitations and color guidelines for digital printing.

6. Coordinate with the in-house sampling/production team for design approvals.

7. Stay updated on textile trends, motifs, color palettes, and fashion market needs.

8. Maintain an organized archive of all digital designs and artworks.

9. Experience in colour matching for sampling strike offs for bulk orders for all fabrics

10. Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.

11. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in textile designing

12. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a must.

13. Hands-on experience using a digital pen tablet for drawing/illustration.

14. Strong understanding of fabric types, especially silk, cotton, and polyester blends.

15. Ability to visualize designs on fabric and create mockups if required.

16. Must be able to communicate in Kannada or Hindi and English
