Textile Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Textile Designer to join our interior design firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fabrics, textures, patterns, and color combinations, with the ability to create unique textile concepts that complement interior spaces. The role involves developing and sourcing fabrics for upholstery, curtains, cushions, wall coverings, and other soft furnishings in line with design themes and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design textile patterns, textures, and color palettes for interior applications.
• Source and select suitable fabrics, trims, and materials in coordination with the design team.
• Collaborate with interior designers to ensure fabric selections align with project aesthetics and functionality.
• Create detailed mood boards, sample presentations, and material libraries.
• Liaise with vendors, mills, and suppliers for sampling, quality checks, and pricing.
• Stay updated on current trends in textiles, materials, and finishes.
• Ensure quality standards, color accuracy, and consistency in all fabric selections.
• Maintain and organize fabric samples, catalogues, and vendor references.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion & Textile Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in textile or interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, weaves, embroidery, prints, and dyeing techniques.
• Proficiency in textile design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or NedGraphics.
• Excellent color sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills with clients and vendors.

Job Location: Crossroads Mall, Dehradun

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
