Summary Position Summary CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS The Core Business Operations (CBO) portfolio is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ heart-of-the-business issues. ROLE Level: Senior Consultant As a testing/automation capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience testing, integration testing, performance testing, writing UI and API automation scripts. As Automation tester, you will be responsible for the design, create and execute, test scripts for software testing and quality assurance purposes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our testing processes are effective, provide application-level validation and verification as per the requirement. The work you will do includes: Analyze user stories for test data requirements and the data model changes. Create detailed and effective automated test cases based on test requirements, user stories, or use cases. Ensure that test cases cover various scenarios and edge cases. Work with developers to identify unit testing data requirements and test engineer/analyst for manual/automation test data requirements Collaborate with TDM (Test Data Management) to gather test data in support of in sprint testing Identify and report defects in a clear and concise manner, including detailed steps to reproduce the issues and relevant information for developers to investigate and fix the problems. Continuously run automated regression tests to identify any unintended side effects of code changes. Work with TDM team on new data dictionary keywords for the new data models Collaborate with test leads and stakeholders to create and update test automation strategies and test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and approach for automation testing. Support on retesting of in sprint /feature testing and setup the necessary data Qualifications Skills / Project Experience: Must Have: Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar, with practical experience in creating and executing test scripts. Basic coding skills in a language commonly used for automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript Basic understanding of test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit and the ability to work with existing test suites. Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand web application structure Ability in test case design, including writing effective test cases, test data preparation, and test scenario creation. Understanding how to manage test data effectively, including creating, maintaining, and using test data sets. SQL knowledge to perform database testing and data validation Ability to generate and interpret basic test reports and metrics from automated test runs Awareness of API testing concepts and basic usage of tools like Postman or REST Assured Understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in Agile/Scrum teams Familiarity with test case management tools such as Jira or TestRail for test case execution and tracking Ability to troubleshoot simple issues and escalate when necessary Effective communication within the team and the ability to follow instructions A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in the field of automation testing Good to Have: Good to have knowledge on Health care industry Education: B.E./B. Accountabilities As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring testing strategies across our commercial platforms such as Veeva CRM, MyInsights, and Vault PromoMats. Your expertise will ensure that our critical business systems meet quality standards, regulatory compliance, and user expectations. You will lead the charge in both manual and automated testing processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. Essential Skills/Experience In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and the SDLC. Experience in both manual and automated testing, including functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing. Proficiency in using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTest, Jira, TestRail). Good understanding of regulatory requirements (GxP, GDPR) for IT systems in pharma. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
