QA Engineer SDET (Playwright)

As a QA Engineer SDET (Playwright) at CodeChavo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through meticulous testing processes. With at least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, you will be responsible for executing tests, conducting manual testing, creating and managing test cases, and ensuring that quality assurance standards are met. Your main focus will be on automation testing, with exposure to both UI and API testing. Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript will be essential for this role, along with hands-on experience using tools like Playwright and Selenium. You will also need proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git-based workflows, as well as familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA and TestRail. Preferred qualifications for this role include exposure to performance or load testing tools like JMeter, experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber, working knowledge of containerised environments like Docker, and an understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
