Testing/Validation Engineer - Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

As a Testing/Validation Engineer, your role will involve ensuring the quality and functionality of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implemented using Apriso software. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, performing system validations, and troubleshooting issues to meet project requirements. Collaboration with developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams will be crucial to deliver robust and reliable MES solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications and requirements. - Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to verify the performance and reliability of MES solutions. - Identify, document, and track defects and issues, collaborating with the development team for timely resolution. - Perform system validations to ensure MES solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards. - Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-users in validating system functionality. - Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Ensure validation processes are rigorously followed throughout the project lifecycle. - Work closely with developers, project managers, and quality assurance teams for smooth project execution. - Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders timely. - Participate in project meetings and provide input on testing strategies and best practices. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven 4+ years of experience in software testing and validation, particularly in MES projects. - Strong understanding of Apriso software and MES concepts. - Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and test cases. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.,
