Job Description

ITI-qualified Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in
electrical testing
of power transformers, including:

Insulation Resistance (IR)
Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR)
Winding Resistance
Power Factor / Tan Delta
Oil BDV Testing

Prepare and arrange test equipment, cables, and connections under supervision.
Perform
pre-testing inspections
, including checking oil level, bushing condition, and earthing.
Support in advanced tests such as SFRA and DGA sampling.
Ensure
safe working practices,
including grounding and PPE use.
Record and report basic test readings accurately.
Perform maintenance and
cleaning of testing instruments and tools
.

Required Qualifications:

Technician
- ITI in Electrical (2-5 years Exp.)
Minimum
23 years of experience
in transformer testing or electrical maintenance.
Basic knowledge of transformer components and test procedures.
Familiarity with equipment like Megger, TTR kit, BDV kit, etc.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to follow technical instructions and wiring diagrams.
Awareness of electrical safety standards and site protocols.
