Testing Senior Manager - Vice President

Role Overview: As a seasoned Senior Test Automation Engineer at Treasury and FP&A Technology, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and executing the testing automation strategy for the Global Funds Transfer Pricing Application. Your role will involve architecting robust automation frameworks, enhancing testing efficiency, and ensuring seamless software delivery of the highest quality. Your expertise in automation tools, agile methodologies, and quality engineering best practices will be crucial in transforming and enhancing the current testing automation landscape. You must have an engineering-first mindset, leveraging the latest technologies to achieve efficient and effective solutions, and prioritize being a developer first, then a quality engineer. Key Responsibilities: - Define, plan, and execute testing automation strategy for CitiFTP, monitoring automation coverage, and enhancing the existing automation framework. - Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and data validation testing on the Big Data/Hadoop platform. - Collaborate with testing areas, development teams, product owners, and business partners to integrate automation into the agile SDLC. - Enhance the efficiency of regression and end-to-end testing using automation, developing robust test scripts and maintaining automation suites to support rapid software releases. - Improve overall test coverage, defect detection, and release quality through automation, establishing and tracking key QA metrics. - Advocate for best practices in test automation, drive the adoption of AI/ML-based testing tools, and mentor a team of test engineers in automation practices. - Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the testing community, define career development paths, and ensure team members stay up to date with industry advancements. - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and drive control issues reporting. Qualifications: - 12+ years of experience in functional and non-functional software testing. - 5+ years of experience as a Test Automation Lead. - Expertise in test automation frameworks/tools like Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Cypress. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or any other programming/scripting language. - Expertise in SQL, API testing tools, performance testing tools, build tools, continuous integration tools, and source management tools. - Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices, and functional test tools. - Familiarity with cloud-based test execution, big data testing, and database testing automation. - Preferred certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Certified Agile Tester, or Selenium WebDriver certification. - Exposure to banking/financial domains, particularly Treasury applications, is a plus. - Excellent communication, diplomacy, persuasion, and influence skills. - Hands-on experience in code review, unit testing, and integration testing. - Confident, innovative, self-motivated, aggressive, and results-oriented. - Passionate about automation in quality engineering.
