Tester

As a Tester/QA Engineer at our company, your role will involve ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications/products. You will be responsible for designing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with teams for quality improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test cases based on requirements. - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. - Validate software against functional and non-functional requirements. - Identify, report, and track defects/bugs using tools like JIRA. - Collaborate with developers for defect resolution. - Work on automation testing using tools like Selenium (if applicable). - Collaborate with the development team and project managers for project deliverables. - Participate in Agile ceremonies if working in an Agile environment. - Contribute to ensuring overall software quality. - Suggest improvements for testing processes. Qualifications Required: - Experience in software testing/QA methodologies. - Knowledge of test case design and execution. - Familiarity with testing tools and bug tracking tools. - Basic understanding of SDLC helpful. - Strong attention to detail for effective testing. - Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
