Job Description

As a Test Repair Lab Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and serviceability of Burn-In Boards (BIB) and system-level hardware. Your responsibilities will include interpreting and analyzing complex electronic schematics, performing hands-on debugging and repair of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies), conducting deep-dive investigations into PCBA failures, defining and implementing standardized debug and repair processes, and collaborating with design, test, and manufacturing teams to drive root cause resolution and improve product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and analyze complex electronic schematics to support fault isolation and repair activities. - Perform hands-on debugging and repair of PCBAs, including component-level troubleshooting. - Conduct deep-dive investigations into PCBA failures using tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and thermal cameras. - Define and implement standardized debug and repair processes for BIBs and system-level hardware. - Maintain detailed records of failure modes, repair actions, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive root cause resolution and improve product quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and layout files. - Hands-on experience with PCBA debug and rework, including soldering and component replacement. - Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies. - Experience with failure analysis methodologies such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams. - Good communication and documentation skills.,
