About the role

A Test Engineer would performs software testing, develops test plans/scripts, analyzes results, and supports engineers to ensure product quality.

What you'll do

Primarily develops and performs software and system-level testing on VeriFone products to maintain VeriFone product quality standards. Develops and executes software test plans, detailed test cases and test procedures. Modifies or develops test scripts when appropriate to support automated test execution. Maintains documentation of test results and refines testing of the product to ensure reproducible identification of problems to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure coverage against product requirements. Supports and consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. .

What qualifications will you need to be successful?

Automation and Scripting experience of 2 to 3 years
Analyzes requirements and other engineering documentation to establish test plans, test cases and test procedures
Writes test scripts for automated testing using Python
Performs manual test execution, analyzes results and generates test reports
Establishes repeatable test scenarios for identified failures and supports efforts to identify the source of failures while working with engineering to resolve issues
Works on assignments with clearly defined objectives.
Works under direct supervision.
Good understanding of Python
Understanding of Test Automation tools and process
Knowledge of Communication interfaces such as WiFi, Cellular, BT and USB is desirable
