Test Engineer

As an Automation Test Engineer specializing in Selenium with C#, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through automated testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and C#. - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Writing and executing test scripts for web-based applications with high coverage and reliability. - Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs through to resolution using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. - Performing integration, regression, smoke, and functional testing. - Creating and maintaining documentation for test cases, test plans, and test results. - Working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or GitLab CI/CD to integrate automated tests into the build pipeline. - Analyzing test results, debugging issues, and supporting development teams in reproducing and resolving defects. - Ensuring adherence to testing best practices and industry standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium with C#. - Strong experience in NUnit / MSTest / xUnit frameworks. - Proficiency in working with Visual Studio, Git, and RESTful API testing (using Postman, RestSharp, etc.). - Good understanding of OOP principles and software testing life cycle (STLC). - Familiarity with BDD frameworks like SpecFlow or Cucumber (for C#). - Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr for test management. - Experience in testing web applications and working with cross-browser and cross-platform scenarios. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
