Test Engineer Trainee

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality. • Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines. • Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce. • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing reports. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to game testing methodologies and tools. • Adhere to quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing procedures. • Contribute to the overall improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancements. • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the QA lead or management

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong passion for gaming and a solid understanding of game mechanics and genres. • Good knowledge of Smartphones such as iOS and Android. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. • Familiarity with software testing principles and methodologies. • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Flexibility and adaptability to learn new concepts, tools, and technologies quickly.
