Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

  Selenium

  with

  Java/Python

  .
• Perform

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks

  .
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and create test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track bugs; perform root cause analysis and validation of fixes.
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Maintain and improve existing test frameworks and test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  automation testing

  .
• Strong experience in

  API testing

  and validating RESTful services.
• Proficiency in

  Selenium WebDriver

  with

  Java

  and/or

  Python

  .
• Experience with testing tools such as

  TestNG, JUnit, PyTest

  , etc.
• Good understanding of

  CI/CD pipelines

  and tools like

  Jenkins, Git, or Maven

  .
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like

  JIRA

  or similar.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  Role & responsibilities

Nice to Have:

• Experience in performance testing tools like

  JMeter

  .
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for testing cloud-hosted applications.
• Exposure to BDD tools like

  Cucumber

  or

  Behave

  .
