Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• E2E Test Execution: Execute manual test cases and procedures for Cluster and Infotainment (IVN) systems across defined validation cycles
• On-Vehicle Validation: Participate actively in the mandated shift rotation modelto conduct dedicated on-vehicle testing using the allocated vehicles
• This includes the potential for weekend shifts as dictated by the parallel validation schedule
• Defect Management: Accurately and efficiently identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects (bugs) utilizing standard defect tracking tools
• Test Development Rework: Contribute to the creation, review, and refinement of test cases and overall test plans as part of off-vehicle responsibilities
• Communication: Maintain close collaboration with development teams, system engineers, and the Validation Lead to facilitate issue resolution and effective status reporting
• Log Analysis: Employ specialized tools to capture and analyze CAN Protocol messages and vehicle data logs to support root cause analysis
• A minimum of 3 years in System or End-to-End Validation, with specific experience in testing Automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs)
• Demonstrated experience in testing Instrument Cluster and/or Infotainment Systems
• Expertise in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices
• Proficiency in CAN Protocol (Controller Area Network) and practical experience with related analysis tools (eg, Bus Master, PCAN)
• Comfortable operating 2-wheeler vehicles (motorcycles/scooters) for specific on-road validation tasks, as required

• Must be amenable to working within a Shift Rotation Model (including both morning and afternoon shifts) and weekends contingent upon project demands
• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field
