Test Engineer II

You will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality assurance of software applications developed and hosted by EB Admin Tech. Your primary focus will be on writing test cases against requirements and conducting manual tests. Additionally, you will be responsible for API testing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement test cases to create repeatable, automated scripts for new enhancements and regression testing - Develop and maintain test data for various modules - Adhere to standard development processes and procedures - Create high-quality manual tests to support development efforts and ensure software quality - Track defects using DevOps and proactively seek solutions - Hands-on experience in authoring large-scale frameworks covering UI, back-end integration, and database - Collaborate effectively in a sprint team environment or work independently as needed - Demonstrate experience/understanding of Agile methodologies - Exhibit strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Establish multi-level architectures for web applications - Handle quality assurance and test environment issues across multiple applications - Execute and validate API web services using tools like Postman - Apply thorough knowledge of software testing practices, including test planning and defect management **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience - 3-5 years of experience in preparing and executing manual test scripts **Preferred Skills and Qualifications:** - Understanding of web services (REST), JSON, and XML data formats - Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Test hub, GIT, Putty, and WinScp - Knowledge of defined contributions (401K) and OmniScript - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software - High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive client data - Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings - Effective planning, priority setting, and task delegation skills - Capability to thrive in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment,
