Test Engineer - Database Testing

Job Description

Mandatory Skills : 1). ETL know-how 2). Expert in Power BI & SSRS report testing 3). Good in writing complex SQL scripts/queries & stored procedures 4). Good in Power BI DAX functions Job Responsibilities : 1). 4+ Database & Report Testing experience 2). Analyzing and interpreting complex business requirements. 3). Should be experienced in agile development methodology, Scrum/Kanban. 4). Need to write Complex SQL Queries to fetch data based on user requirement. 5). Need to write SQL Queries to validate Data in reports/tables ETLs. 6). Need to plan, document releases i.e. Release notes. 7). Need to test BI/SSRS reports / Tables / ETLs / Applications. 8). Need to do sanity of Reports/Dashboards 9). Need to Prepare and execute test cases, assist in preparing test case plan, writing sql queries, test cases, testing database application, checking validation of field size, and recording database. 10). Responsible for establishing, managing, and executing test practices for EDW/BI Projects 11). Analyze the functional requirements of the application / product and create RTM 12). Prepare test environment and execute test cases on latest build deployed on test environment 13). Debug failed test cases and raise bugs & follow up with BA/development team 14). Share the testing delivery / quality risk with test lead / manager 15). Experience in Requirement/Bug tracking tools like Jira/TFS etc. 16). Able to work with test Management tools like VSTS and HP ALM Desired Skills : - Prior knowledge of data analysis, database design concepts, Oracle SQL, and SQL testing
