Test Engineer

Job summary :

This is a key role for the New Energy business, where the individual will ensure the testing & trouble shooting of EV Chargers of different ratings, Home Energy Products ( AC to DC, DC to DC & DC to AC) and shall have a strong technical background in power electronics.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Testing and troubleshooting of field failure EV Chargers & Home Energy Products ( AC to DC, DC to DC & DC to AC)
• Analyzing the failure modes
• Identifying the root cause of failure modes
• Sharing the feed back with the CFT
• Coordinating with design team in getting the corrective action
• Preparing RCA
• Coordinating with field teams
• Maintain the documentation on field returns and analysis.

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Related Diploma /technical discipline.

Experience Needed for the Position:

2-3 years of experience in Product Testing & Troubleshooting.

Skills / Competencies Needed for the Position:

• Hands-on Experience on Electronic circuit design.
• Experience with Off Board & On-Board charger charging technologies, Load management & Integration and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
• Knowledge on CAN Protocol and Simulation tools
• Experience with Li Ion Battery Charging technologies
• Must possess a positive attitude and professional image with impeccable business ethics.
