Test Automation Engineer

You will play a key role in designing and implementing top-quality technical solutions using the latest technologies and tools. Your responsibilities will include directing the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework, with a focus on driving and enhancing the QA team in areas of agile and automated testing. It is essential to have experience in Playwright and Typescript. As a technical leader within the field of Quality Assurance, Testing, and Test Automation, you will provide expertise in Testing Methodologies, Processes, Automation, Tools, and Techniques across the teams. Ensuring that development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the QA strategy will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will mentor and provide leadership to QA engineers, participate in interviews, induction, training, and performance evaluations of team members. Continuous QA improvements, including the use of appropriate testing tools, techniques, and automation, will be a key focus. You will be responsible for building and maintaining quality standards, enforcing technical and testing standards, monitoring all QA activities and test results, performing root cause analysis, and identifying areas for improvement. Gathering and presenting testing metrics and activities for projects to key stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities. As an escalation point for testing and quality assurance matters, you will be the primary contact for QA teams. Collaborating with Development managers and Software Development Leadership, you will develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed quality goals. To excel in this role, you should have about 9+ years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in Playwright. Strong technical skills, experience managing testing departments, and a deep understanding of Test Strategy are essential. Effective communication skills with key stakeholders, a passion for Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and industry Best Practices, as well as experience with testing tools and frameworks are desired.
