Job Description

As a Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by planning, designing, executing, and documenting test cases and results.
You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
You will be responsible for identifying defects, logging issues, and contributing to defect triaging and resolution.
Participate in sprint ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute actively in Agile/DevOps environments.
Support test automation, continuous testing, and shift-left initiatives as part of quality improvement.

What should you bring along

5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, preferably in Agile or hybrid project environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to translate business requirements and functional specs into test cases and test scenarios.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Must have technical skill

Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Confluence .
Very good knowledge on Database.
Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with SQL for validating backend data.
Knowledge on Sales Journey, Banking/SF.
Basic knowledge of automation testing and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Java/Python, or similar tools).
Familiarity with CI/CD environments like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
Understanding of cloud-based applications and environments (AWS, Azure).
Experience in BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.

Good to have skills

ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
Exposure to performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
Domain knowledge in Banking/Finance.
