Territory Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and appoint stockiest in new and potential towns.
  
• Set outlet coverage and distribution targets for SI/RSP teams.
  
• Drive sales width through focus brands and targeted distribution expansion.
  
• Ensure strong market visibility and merchandising in all outlets.
  
• Monitor stock pipelines and take corrective actions to meet norms.
  
• Identify and process breakages, expiries, and damaged stocks as per guidelines.
  
• Ensure timely collections and manage receivables from stockists.
  
• Ensure stockiest adequately service their markets through SI/RSP teams.
  
• Monitor stockist investments and ensure alignment with company norms.
  
• Ensure timely settlement of stockist claims as per corporate guidelines.
  
• Monitor stockist ROI and escalate concerns to the Area Head.
  
• Approve Monthly Journey Plans (MJP) for SI/RSP and ISR.
  
• Enhance productivity of SI/RSP/ISR through effective beat planning.
  
• Reorganize beats to optimize sales coverage and efficiency.
  
• Ensure proper execution of trade promotions and market schemes.
  
• Monitor travel and miscellaneous expenses to ensure adherence to budgets.
  
• Evaluate SI/RSP performance and ensure RSP/ISR target achievement.
  
• Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental support to the field team.
  
• Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for SI/RSP teams.
  
• Coordinate with Training Manager for classroom training of SI/RSP/ISR.
  
• Prepare and submit MIS reports and required documentation on time.
  
• Ensure timely processing of claims, leaves, and attendance for reporting teams.
  
• Handle grievances and manage conflicts through effective resolution.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have experience in required location.
