Job Description

As a Sales Professional at Medtronic, your role involves promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals. Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services will be crucial. Additionally, you will play a part in promoting and establishing education of the company's products and services. Your responsibilities will also include conducting market research, including customers and competitors activities, implementing market development plans/strategies, and communicating customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and specific customer accounts - Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders - Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits - Promote and establish education of the company's products and services - Conduct market research including customers and competitors activities - Implement market development plans/strategies and communicate customer feedback on new products or modifications to internal stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.Pharma/B.Sc/BCA) with 6-9 years of relevant experience - Practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience At Medtronic, you will work as an established and productive sales professional managing multiple small to mid-size accounts. You will have autonomy in selling products and services to a group of clients and identifying new and potential customers. Your impact will be on achieving individual sales targets within the product area and/or account by selling products/services, developing new accounts, and/or expanding existing accounts. Collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance to structure complex contracts will be part of your responsibilities.
