Description
The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving customer interactions and sales performance. As the face of our customer experience approach, you will establish deep relationships to deliver value for customers and patients while ensuring sales growth in a compliant and ethical manner. Your responsibilities will include developing business plans, conducting customer events, sales & marketing campaigns, and sales presentations to achieve objectives. You will be responsible for meeting sales, productivity, and performance targets within set budgets and timelines, providing support to key accounts/hospital networks, and ensuring market access support. It is essential to have a deep understanding of the specialist area and priority products, maintain product knowledge, and stay updated on market trends and competitors. You will be expected to achieve contact and coverage targets through various communication channels, ensure customer satisfaction, maintain best-in-class customer relationships, and complete all reports accurately and on time. Collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team to meet company objectives is key, along with providing input on promotional fund utilization and sales forecasting for the territory. Compliance with adverse events guidelines and the Novartis Code of Conduct is mandatory. If in a managerial role, you will be responsible for sales planning, target setting, reporting, and team knowledge. Prompt reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, and distribution of marketing samples will be part of your duties. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of sales experience in Healthcare/Pharma or related sectors, with an established network to target customer groups. Territory knowledge and a science educational background (B.Sc, B.Pharma) are essential, along with good communication skills. Cardiovascular experience is desirable.
