We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Telesales Representative to join our growing team and help us drive the solar revolution. Job Summary We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Telesales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, playing a critical role in the sales process. You will be responsible for outbound calling to generate leads, educating homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar energy, and qualifying them for a consultation with our senior solar specialists. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a natural salesperson, and passionate about renewable energy. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation: Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls and follow up on warm leads from various marketing campaigns. Customer Education: Clearly and persuasively explain the financial and environmental benefits of switching to solar, including potential cost savings, tax credits, and financing options. Qualification: Engage prospects in conversation to understand their energy needs, utility bills, and property (e.g., roof suitability). Appointment Setting: Secure qualified appointments for our field sales team or senior solar consultants. Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of our solar products, services, and current industry trends. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide feedback and contribute to campaign strategies. Qualifications and Skills Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a telesales, inside sales, or customer-facing role (1-2 years preferred). Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. A confident and persuasive phone manner with strong active listening skills. Ability to handle rejection and remain positive, persistent, and professional. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in a sales environment. Proficient with computers, CRM software, and MS Office (or Google Workspace). Preferred (Not Required, but a Strong Plus): A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Multilingual (e.g., English/Punjabi/Hindi) is a significant advantage.
