By bridging the gap between the customers and the company, the work of a telesales executive involves having telephonic conversations with the customers, while hitting the sales targets of the company. Going the extra mile for the customer is a vital part of the role of the telesales executive. With an in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings, the ideal telesales executive works towards building a strong relationship with customers, by making telephonic sales. Responsibilities Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts Answer questions about products or the company. Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales Enter and update customer information in the database and process orders in an accurate manner. Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation. Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales. Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
