Telematics Platform Testing Engineer

Job Purpose-

Responsible for coordinating telematics vendors, supporting platform operations, and managing data tracking for EV battery and telematics projects. The role involves vendor management, project tracking, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with global telematics and cybersecurity standards.

Role

Vendor & Project Coordination-

1. Coordinate with new and existing telematics vendors for platform enhancements and logic implementation.

2. Prepare and maintain vendor task tracking sheets and follow up for timely completion.

3. Track project development as per requirement, maintain project sheets, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendor to ensure deadlines are met.

Platform Management & Support-

1. Coordinate with platform users and vendors to resolve platform-related issues.

2. Support implementation of new platform logic and features in collaboration with vendors and users.

3. Ensure seamless operation of telematics systems, servers, devices, and platforms.

Data Tracking & Analysis-

1. Track and analyze EV battery data for trial or prototype EV vehicles using telematics platforms or Excel data.

2. Prepare reports on EV battery data and maintain tracking sheets for data requirements from users.

Technical Expertise-

1. Experience in EV battery data analysis, validation and report prepration.

2. Apply knowledge of telematics systems, servers, devices, and platforms for issue resolution and improvement.

3. Utilize understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP, FTP, TLS, HSM, Secure Boot, IPv4/IPv6, and APIs.

Compliance & Security-

1. Ensure telematics platform compliance with global standards and cybersecurity requirements.

2.Support validation and testing to meet global telematics and data security protocols.

Skills & Capabilities

• Experience in vendor coordination and project tracking within telematics or related technology platforms.
• Knowledge of telematics systems, servers, devices, and platforms.The Incumbent will be responsible for.
• Hands-on experience in battery data analysis and report preparation.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, FTP, TLS, HSM, Secure Boot, IPv4/IPv6, APIs).
• Understanding of global telematics platform compliance and cybersecurity requirement
