Job Title: Visa Counsellor

Reports To: Visa Manager / Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Visa Counsellor is responsible for guiding clients through the visa and immigration application process. This role involves understanding each client’s eligibility and requirements, providing accurate and up-to-date information, preparing and submitting visa applications, and offering support throughout the approval process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students or clients regarding visa procedures and documentation for countries such as Canada, Australia, UK, USA, Schengen nations, etc.
• Assess the eligibility of clients based on current immigration laws and visa categories.
• Assist clients in preparing and organizing required documents for visa submission.
• Submit visa applications and follow up with embassies, consulates, or VFS centers.
• Stay updated on immigration policies, changes in visa rules, and government regulations.
• Coordinate with universities or embassies as required to facilitate the visa process.
• Provide pre-departure support and orientation regarding travel, accommodation, and cultural expectations.
• Maintain records of all client interactions, application status, and outcomes.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone, or in-person appointments.
• Achieve individual and team targets related to visa application success rates and client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in visa processing, immigration consulting, or international education.
• Strong knowledge of visa processes and immigration rules for key destination countries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in student visa counselling or work/residency visa applications.
• Certifications in immigration law or related training courses.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional travel to seminars, education fairs, or embassy visits.
• May require extended hours during peak admission seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
