Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SDS2 Senior Checker to join our team in CoimbatoreThis full-time role requires a professional with a senior-level aptitude in structural steel detailing, equipped with 7 to 10 years of industry experienceThe candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of detailing projects, aligning with our companys standards of excellence

Qualifications And Skills
Proficiency in SDS2 Software (Mandatory skill) is required to ensure precise detailing outputs that meet the needs of our varied projects

Strong background in structural steel detailing (Mandatory skill) is crucial to successfully oversee and verify complex detailing tasks

Experience in project management (Mandatory skill) to effectively lead teams and manage workflows in high-pressure environments

Hands-on experience with steel Structures to aid in the efficient creation and management of detailing models

Strong capability in blueprint reading to interpret project specifications thoroughly and ensure alignment with design requirements

Experience in construction document review to ensure all project documents meet industry and client standards

Knowledge of building codes compliance to verify that all detailing work adheres to the necessary legal standards

Roles And Responsibilities
Review and check detailed structural steel drawings and ensure they meet project specifications and standards

Coordinate with project teams to manage detailing phases from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines

Provide technical guidance to team members to enhance the accuracy and quality of detailing work

Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies in detailing plans

Utilize project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver projects within the stipulated time frame and budget

Ensure compliance with all applicable international standards and building codes in detailing works

Oversee the documentation and maintenance of project records and ensure they are updated and accurate

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize detailing processes and methodologies
