Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a TEKLA Modeler (AISC) located in Chennai. The TEKLA Modeler will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models of structural steel components using TEKLA software, ensuring adherence to AISC standards. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, collaborating with project teams, generating accurate and detailed shop drawings, and performing quality checks to ensure the accuracy of models. The role also involves coordinating with various stakeholders to resolve any design or detailing issues.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TEKLA software and 3D modeling
• Strong knowledge of AISC standards and structural steel detailing
• Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and quality checking skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant experience in the construction or steel industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
