Hiring for a "Maintainance Technician" for Water Treatment Plant, the technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a water treatment facility. This includes monitoring equipment, conducting tests, maintaining records, and ensuring the plant adheres to all safety and environmental regulations. They ensure the water is treated to the required standards and is safe for distribution. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Control:Operators monitor various plant processes, including flow rates, chemical dosages, and equipment performance, using gauges, meters, and control systems.
• Water Quality Testing:They conduct routine physical, chemical, and biological tests on water samples to ensure treatment effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
• Equipment Maintenance:Operators perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on pumps, valves, motors, and other equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshooting:They identify and resolve operational problems, malfunctions, and equipment failures, often requiring quick decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate records of plant operations, test results, maintenance activities, and other relevant data.
• Chemical Handling:Safely handling and adding chemicals (like chlorine, ammonia, etc.) to disinfect and treat the water.
• Safety Compliance:Ensuring that all operations adhere to safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Communication:Effectively communicating with other plant personnel, supervisors, and potentially the public regarding plant operations and water quality.
