Technology Support III- Data Protection and Recovery

As a Technology Support III team member in the Infrastructure Platforms-Data Protection and Recovery product line, you play a crucial role in ensuring the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for both internally and externally developed systems. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you contribute to delivering a seamless user experience. Your responsibilities will include providing end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to facilitate successful business operations. You will support the day-to-day maintenance of the firm's systems, monitor production environments for anomalies, and utilize standard observability tools to address issues promptly. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying issues for escalation, communicating effectively with business and technology stakeholders, and analyzing complex situations to anticipate and resolve incident, problem, and change management. To excel in this role, you should possess formal training or certification in Technology Support concepts along with at least 3 years of applied experience. Your expertise should extend to troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services. Furthermore, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting enterprise data protection products like Cohesity, Commvault, or NetBackup. A solid understanding of applications and infrastructure in large-scale technology environments, encompassing both on-premises and public cloud setups, is essential. Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools, familiarity with ITIL framework processes, and availability for late shifts, including weekends, are also required. If you have experience with general-purpose programming languages or automation scripting, it would be considered a valuable asset for this position.
