The ideal candidate will have a deep architecture-level understanding of database development and a proven track record of running data-driven applications on cloud platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Manage the deployment and maintenance of data-driven applications on cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP. Lead the development of microservices-based cloud applications. Ensure robust DevOps practices are in place and followed. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex technical information in a clear manner. Manage IT infrastructure to support application development and deployment. Run Agile functions and Scrum processes efficiently. Oversee large application development projects from inception to completion. Your skills and experience 15 to 20 years of IT experience, with a focus on database development and cloud applications. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. Extensive experience with DevOps engineering and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Science concepts. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Understanding of IT infrastructure and its role in application development. Proven experience in running Agile functions and Scrum processes. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale application development projects. Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking technology. Preferred Skills : Certification in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments. Ability to mentor and develop team members.
