Technology Consultant- DISCOM

Role Overview: As a candidate for the hybrid position combining technical expertise and managerial oversight in e Governance projects, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical consultancy and support for the implementation of e Governance projects. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. - Establish and maintain KPIs to measure project success and team performance. - Offer insights and recommendations on technology trends and their potential impact on the organization. - Manage the development of standards and guidelines related to e-governance to ensure nationwide synergies and standardization. - Study security and strategic control guidelines/standards from other countries and promote the development of security frameworks for e-governance initiatives in India. - Monitor and evaluate strategic controls for various projects and provide recommendations. - Ensure timely appraisal of Project Reports and adherence to technology standards. - Provide regular reports to higher authorities on technical appraisals and related matters. - Support emerging technologies like AI/ML, Blockchain in e Governance projects through advisory and template creation for concept notes, gap analysis, and implementation. Qualifications Required: Essential: - Graduation in B.E/B.Tech with experience in implementing large projects. Desirable: - Post-Graduation in M.Tech. - Relevant certification in Data Analysis, Design thinking, Agile, or cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, CSM). Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Management of large IT Projects/ Software Project Management / Software Development. - Must have DISCOM experience. - Experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, Spring Boot, Django or similar. - Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. - Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API documentation tools like Swagger. - Familiarity with secure coding practices and tools like OWASP, SAST, and DAST. - Familiarity with design tools like FIGMA. - Familiarity with data analytics tools & Platforms.,
