Technology Architect - Data Engineering

Role Overview: JMAN Group, a fast-growing data engineering and data science consultancy, is looking for a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer at JMAN Group, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of data engineers, diagnosing existing architecture, building analytics tools, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics. Your role will involve working with a variety of data warehouse platforms, data visualization tools, and cloud technologies to create innovative solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment. - Diagnose existing architecture and data maturity to identify gaps and propose solutions. - Build analytics tools using the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition and operational efficiency. - Ensure compliance with coding standards and create test cases for all developed features. - Evaluate and recommend cloud data platforms for customer needs. - Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure data quality, reliability, security, and scalability. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in ETL/ELT or building Data Pipeline tools like AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Matillion, or dbt. - Hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms like Azure SQL Server, Redshift, Big Query, Databricks, or Snowflake. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries, database query optimization, and stored procedures. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. - Ability to integrate with SaaS based CRM, Accounting, and Financial systems. - Experience in end-to-end deployment processes from understanding business requirements to implementation. - Expertise in data solution architectures and data management tools and techniques. - Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark. - Knowledge of SDLC, Agile Scrum Methodologies. - Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB. - Strong experience working with on-premises and Cloud-based databases and lakes. - Proven experience as a Data Engineer focusing on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience in Full stack technology is a plus. - Hands-on experience in design patterns, data models, and implementation strategies. - Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools to streamline data engineering workflows. - Ensure compliance with data governance policies, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.,
