Technician

As a Solar O&M Technician, you will work closely with the O&M team to ensure the smooth operation of solar installations. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, executing maintenance procedures, and responding promptly to system issues in order to enhance the overall efficiency of the installations. Your key responsibilities will involve conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential issues, performing routine preventive maintenance procedures on solar equipment, troubleshooting and repairing faults in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related components. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting data on system performance using monitoring systems, responding promptly to system failures or emergencies to minimize downtime, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history, effectively communicating with team members, and adhering to safety protocols and guidelines during all maintenance activities. To excel in this role, you should possess a technical diploma/ITI or relevant certification in solar technology, electrical systems, or a related field. Previous experience in solar O&M or a similar role would be beneficial. You should have knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and associated electrical components, as well as strong troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance skills. It is also important to promote and maintain a culture of safety within the team and on-site.,
