Job Descriptions – RF Pod Integration Job Description 1: ITI Technician – Mechanical (RF Pod Integration) Position Title: ITI Technician – Mechanical Integration Location: Noida/ Gurgaon – onsite field locations Department: DI Aero Reports To: DM (Engineer) Role Overview: Responsible for assisting in the mechanical installation, alignment, and integration of RF pods and associated hardware on fighter aircraft as per engineering design and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: • Perform mechanical assembly, installation, and fitment of RF pods on aircraft structures. • Handle precision alignment, torqueing, and fastening, and hole drilling operations as per technical drawings and procedures. • Support mechanical interface adjustments between aircraft surfaces and pod mounting points. • Conduct inspection and verification of mechanical joints and locking mechanisms. • Collaborate with electrical technicians and engineers during integration testing. • Maintain assembly tools and ensure adherence to aerospace quality and safety standards. Qualifications and Skills: • ITI certificate in Mechanical, Fitter, or Aircraft Maintenance trade. • 2–5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or precision mechanical assembly setups. • Knowledge of torque tools, fastening systems, and mechanical drawings. • Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and follow work instructions. • Familiarity with aircraft materials and safety protocols is desirable.
