Technician

• Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and activities of daily living as directed by physical or occupational therapists.
• Set up and operate therapeutic equipment and modalities, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold packs under therapist guidance.
• Supervise and guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Support gait training exercises, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist patients with transfers to and from treatment areas, beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment while maintaining patient safety.
• Document patient progress, treatments administered, and observations during therapy sessions for accurate record-keeping.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of experience as a therapy or rehabilitation technician.
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and patient mobility techniques.
• Ability to operate therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong patient care and observation skills.
• Capability to follow safety protocols and assist with patient transfers.
• High school diploma or relevant certification in physiotherapy assistance or rehabilitation support.
