Job Description

Technical Skills:

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and harness drawings:
This is fundamental to understanding the layout and connections of the harness.
Wiring Harness Assy process:
This includes wire cutting , stripping, crimping and soldering techniques for securely attaching wires to terminals and connectors.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems:
A broad understanding of how the harness integrates into the larger aircraft system or in army vehicles.
Knowledge of wire types, connector systems, and sleeving:
Selecting the correct materials for the specific activity.
Experience with relevant standards:
Familiarity with industry standards like IPC-620-A and aerospace wiring standards
