Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems: A broad understanding of how the harness integrates into the larger aircraft system or in army vehicles. Knowledge of wire types, connector systems, and sleeving: Selecting the correct materials for the specific activity. Experience with relevant standards: Familiarity with industry standards like IPC-620-A and aerospace wiring standards Operating hand and power tools: Proficiency in using tools like wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, and cable ties.
