Job Description

To independently create error-free content deliverables with the objective of meeting client s need within the constraints of the stated project requirements. Ability to interact with clients and internal teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Understand the scope of documentation & content creation process

Collate and analyze available documentation such as requirement documents or specification documents

Identify the type of documentation to be developed

Conduct SME Interviews for gathering inputs

Coordinate with multiple cross functional teams to gather information required for developing documentation

Attend application walkthroughs to understand the application

Create template and prototype

Develop content for the required documents & conduct editorial review of content

Coordinate technical and client reviews

Provide content support to the knowledge bank

Perform continuous updates to documentation if and as required

Qualification:

Bachelors/Masters in English Literature/Mass Communication

Bachelors of Science/ Engineering/Technology

Bachelors/Masters in Arts/Economics

Exposure to Google Cloud or any other cloud technology would be an added advantage

Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in Technical Writing *

Good language skills - must be able to write content without any grammatical errors and in accordance with the customer s style guide an target audience *

Good written and oral communication skills *

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance *

Ability to identify information gaps and interview the subject matter experts to gather information

Ability to analyze the requirements and existing documentation

Ability to grasp technical information quickly

Expertise with Microsoft Word and any online help authoring tool *

Ability to create templates and prototypes in accordance with styles and standards followed by client or in alignment with industry standards, Ability to do effort estimation.
