Job Description


  1. Has fair Knowledge of Mortgage and / or Title insurance industry and market dynamics, Value chain, etc.

  2. Knowledge and usage of industry standard documentation tools and guidelines.

  3. Be part of the Knowledge Transfer (KT), Discovery (Training) sessions to understand the process/application.

  4. Gathering requirements through research and interviews with the SMEs, Line of Business.

  5. Structure the content, review with the Project Manager/Transition manager for sign-off.

  6. Hands on experience in reviewing the documents and delivering high quality, accurate and reliable end-user documentation artifacts/templates/forms as per business requirement.

  7. Be able to write a brief edit-review summary, explaining problems and recommending revisions as tactfully as possible.

  8. Implement standard design, format, and style of business letters, memos, and e-mail.

  9. Understand and use a reliable, effective method for planning, writing, and revising business communications.

  10. Understand the usefulness of a style sheet and how to construct one.

  11. Takes initiative to develop own technical / behavioral skills; reflects and learns from experiences of self and others.

  12. Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues including internal (Project/ Transition manager, SME s) and external customers (Onshore, Line of business, trainers).


Technical Skills:


  1. Knowledge on Technical writing tools such as Adobe tools, Microsoft Tools (Visio, MS Office), Camtasia, Robohelp, Oracle UPK, HTML, Video editing, Style guide, etc.

  2. Knowledge on Technical writing concepts, templates, guidelines, standards & designing the flow of the document.

  3. Hands-on experience with all required tools especially, Microsoft Office suite (Visio, Excel, Word & power-point) and Adobe tools for creating and formatting documents.

  4. Image capturing/editing tools like SnagIT.

  5. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  6. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems.

  8. Keen attention to detail and thoroughness.
