Job Title: Technical Writer API Documentation & Oxygen XML Job Location: Bangalore Experience: 5+ Years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and take ownership of technical documentation, including API documentation, user guides, installation guides, and release notes . The ideal candidate will work closely with developers to standardize and enhance documentation quality while transitioning to advanced documentation tools. Key Responsibilities: Write clear, concise, and accurate documentation using Oxygen XML Author . Develop API documentation, user guides, installation guides, and release notes . Interpret technical specifications, developer notes, configuration files, and code to create end-user documentation. Ensure documentation is structured, accessible, and follows best practices. Work on documentation conversion to standardized tools (currently available in PDF/HTML only). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers. Utilize AI/ML tools and techniques to enhance the documentation process. Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously under time constraints. Required Skills: Oxygen XML Author (or similar XML editor) Experience with API Documentation Strong expertise in User Guides, Installation Guides, and Release Notes Understanding of AI/ML tools for enhancing documentation Knowledge of SDL Content Management System (preferred) Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF Editors Experience in online help, web help, PDFs, HTML-based documentation
