Technical Writer

Job Description: About the Role: As a Freelance Technical Writer at Datamundi.ai, you will be responsible for leading instruction and task design for GenAI and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) programs. Your main role will involve collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product teams to create clear, actionable documentation that drives high-quality data collection and training outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of task instructions, templates, and best practices for GenAI projects. - Partner with Product Areas to define data needs and design effective, unambiguous rater tasks. - Author, edit, and maintain rater guidelines, task design guides, and quality rubrics. - Develop internal training materials and knowledge bases on instruction design. - Translate complex technical details into clear and practical documentation. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. - 10+ years in technical writing or instructional design, preferably for HITL or rater platforms. - Strong grasp of task definition principles and documentation best practices. - Working knowledge of HTML, Python, Markdown, Git, and data analysis. - Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver clear content for diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or related field. - Experience with large-scale evaluation or crowdsourcing platforms. - Familiarity with AI/ML data labeling and analysis for continuous improvement.,
