Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to effectively communicate complex technical information to various audiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Documentation Creation: Develop and maintain technical documentation like user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides. - Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather necessary information for documentation. - Content Management: Organize and manage documentation in a structured manner to ensure consistency in terminology, style, and format. - Review and Editing: Proofread and edit documentation for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and punctuation to meet company standards. - Version Control: Manage updates and revisions to ensure accurate reflection of changes in the final documents. - User Experience Focus: Ensure documentation is user-focused, providing clear instructions meeting the audience's needs. - Research: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and tools related to technical writing. - Tool Utilization: Utilize content management systems, authoring tools, and graphics software for documentation. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in English, Computer Science, or related field. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years in technical writing or a related field. Skills required: - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts. - Familiarity with software development processes and API documentation. - Attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience: - Experience in software, IT, or engineering industry. - Knowledge of UX writing principles. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. - Experience with content management systems and tools like MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar. This is a full-time position located in Ernakulam, Kerala, requiring 2 years of total work experience. The work location is in person with a day shift schedule.,
