Job Description

Job Title: Technical Trainer Microsoft Excel

Location:

Role Purpose

To train KR Mangalam University students and staff in Microsoft Excel, from basic to advanced levels, with a focus on practical, industry-ready skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Excel training sessions (beginner to advanced).
Teach formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, data cleaning, dashboards, and basic automation.
Create training material (datasets, assignments, practice sheets).
Assess learner progress through quizzes, tests, and projects.
Support placement readiness by building Excel skills needed for jobs.
Train faculty or admin teams when required.

Required Skills

Strong command of Excel (including lookup functions, pivot tables, data visualization, Power Query, and preferably basic VBA).
Ability to teach and simplify concepts for beginners.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Experience delivering trainings in a classroom or online setting.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Commerce, Data, etc.).
2+ years of experience in Excel-based work or training.
Microsoft Excel certification preferred (not mandatory).
