Technical System Analyst

Role Overview: As a Technical System Analyst at Barclays, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence in the digital landscape. Your main focus will be to leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance digital offerings and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Working collaboratively with a team of developers, your role will involve delivering a robust technology stack by utilizing your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand business requirements and provide high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize software development methodologies like Agile and stay updated on leading-edge tools, techniques, and services within the IT domain. - Demonstrate proficiency in software development using Java17.21, J2EE Frameworks (Spring Core, Spring Boot), Databases (Oracle / DB2), Micro-services, REST API, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, application servers like JBoss and Tomcat, Version Control Software (Bit Bucket / Git), Junit, Mockito, TDD, Agile-Scrum methodologies, cloud technologies, DevOps, Jenkins pipeline, among others. - Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate Architecture Vision into high-level and low-level designs, conduct technical analysis of requirements, and create business and technical flow documentation. - Work closely with developers and testers to ensure the completeness of requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Evaluate and enhance key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience with global teams and understanding of AWS, Microservice/API-oriented architectures. - Strong expertise in software development using various languages and technologies. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
