Job Description

As a Floor Support Specialist at Lenovo, your role involves providing immediate resolution to technical, process-related, and policy queries. You will be responsible for clarifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting, offering guidance on part compatibility and usage, supporting in tool navigation and technical platforms, all to ensure engineers remain productive and avoid downtime due to ambiguity. Your key responsibilities include: - Providing floor support for all queries, including SOP clarifications, guidance on part compatibility, and support in tool navigation. - Handling escalations efficiently, both On Call and Off Call, to prevent customer dissatisfaction and potential brand impact. - Collecting defective units for escalated/repeat cases in a timely manner to facilitate root cause analysis and effective closures. - Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for escalated cases to identify root causes and suggest preventive actions. - Managing technical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as per given metrics. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A degree in Information Technology or Hardware or related discipline. - Sound technical knowledge in troubleshooting hardware issues for laptops, desktops, accessories, headphones, keyboards, etc. - Excellent communication and customer relation skills. - Willingness to work 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 9 am to 6 pm, with one day off provided.
