Technical Support Engineer (EMEA Generalist)

As a Level 1 Technical Support Engineer at Vonage, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch support to our growing customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every customer issue is addressed promptly and effectively, leaving them impressed with the Vonage service. You will be expected to triage support requests via email, phone, and chat channels, demonstrating excellent communication skills both internally and externally. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to expedite ticket resolution and capturing knowledge to empower customers in troubleshooting are key aspects of this role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and possess 1-2 years of Technical Support experience in the telecommunications or technology sectors. Strong situational awareness, exceptional communication abilities, a proactive and customer-centric approach, and a rapid learning capability are essential traits that you must bring to the role.
