Photocopier Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and configure photocopiers, printers, scanners, and related devices at various client locations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and servicing for copiers and multifunction devices to ensure top performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software faults in photocopiers and printers.
• Provide technical support and user training to clients, ensuring users understand basic operation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain clear and complete service reports, logs of repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Respond promptly to service calls, sometimes requiring urgent attention at client sites.
• Keep up to date with new technologies and operational practices in copier and printer servicing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or a diploma in electronics, IT, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing copier/printer faults.
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and explain technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a service team, manage schedules, and prioritize calls efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site service.

Skills

• Technical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Mechanical aptitude for replacing parts and performing repairs.
• Understanding of IT/networking for networked device setup is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
